William Franklin Graham Jr., otherwise popularly known as Billy Graham, has passed at the age of 99.
Graham was a well known American Christian Protestant evangelist who eventually became one of the most significant preachers of the 20th century.

Did you know he was a counselor to Harry Truman and Barack Obama? It was also known that he was close friends with Dwight D. Eisenhower, Lyndon B. Johnson, and Richard Nixon. Aside from his relations with the presidents, he managed to mold evangelicalism into an impact that emulated liberal Protestantism and Roman Catholicism in the U.S. He has reached into more than 180 countries and colonies. President Reagan also awarded Graham with the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 1983, which is the highest civilian honor in America. He is a man with many honors! A museum and library was also opened in Charlotte, NC under his name in which former presidents George H. W. Bush and Bill Clinton attended the opening of in 2007.
After much complications with cancer, pneumonia, and other illnesses, Mr. Billy Graham passed in his home in North Carolina. He will be laid to rest by his wife at the Billy Graham Museum and Library.
Let us all remember him as 'America's Pastor'.
